G.M., 8.7.2020.We have just returned from a fantastic holiday in Komiza staying for 9 nights at the Ana apartments, in the Mistral apartment, top floor.
If you are looking for accommodation in Komiza then look no further, the view from the balcony is stunning, the photos do not do it justice, amazing scenery.
The apartment was very clean and well equipped, nothing could be faulted.
We met Ana two years ago on our first visit to Komiza, I so wish we had stayed at the Mistral apartment then, Ana works such long hours in the local grocery shop.
The star of the show for us was Antonija, Daughter of Ana, a charming lady with a very good sense of humour.
Our party consisted of myself, my Wife Lucy and our Son Martyn.
Antonija was aware at the booking stage that Martyn suffers from a long term illness which effects his balance and coordination,
His condition and mobility was much worse during our holiday as a result of Martyn having had a bad fall at home 10 months ago resulting in major surgery to correct ligament damage to his knee.
Because of this we found the stairs to get to the top floor a bit of a challenge but well worth the effort to get to that balcony.
Martyn was in a wheelchair most of the time to get around.
Antonija kindly met us at the ferry port in Vis and then took us to the local supermarket so that we could buy supplies to take to the apartment, this was just the start of her kindness.
Every evening Antonija met us in Komiza and drove us back to the apartment, this to save us having to push the wheelchair up a steep incline from the harbour area.
Antonija had to leave home three days before the end of our holiday and arranged for her Father to continue to pick us up at the end of each day.
They are such a lovely family and we left feeling that we had known them for years, now our very special friends.
Just book to stay here you will not be disappointed.
Good luck to Antonija with her University studies, she deserves to succeed and I am sure she will.
Would have no hesitation in staying at Ana apartments in the future, the location is perfect.
Antonija’s kindness really helped us to enjoy our time in Croatia and made it so much easier for us to get around in the circumstances.

Daniel, 15.9.2019.Vi bodde i Apartment Libecchio fyra nätter i juli, totalt tre personer (två vuxna och en tonåring). Lägenheten var rymlig och bra utrustad samt hade en underbar utsikt över viken. Antonija var en mycket hjälpsam värdinna som gav oss tips samt hjälpte oss att boka middag på en vingård. Vi kan varmt rekommendera boendet och även ett besök på Vis och då gärna Komiza.

Från balkongen har du fin utsikt över Komiza. Badstrand nära o även till butiksgatan o hamnen är det nära ca 10 min promenad. Det går lätt att ta sig ner till butiksgatan/hamnen då det är nerförsbacke, lite tuffare på vägen hem. Till badstranden tar du dig antingen via branta trappor eller vi vägen ner mot butiksgatan. I hamnen finns ett utbud av varierande typer av restauranger. Antonija är en fantastisk värd och kan varmt rekommendera boendet. Antonija o hennes föräldrar finns alltid nära till hands om man vill fråga något eller behöver hjälp.

This appartement was incredibly beautiful, the view is very nice. The host was very helpful, I could ask anything, she knew the answer and she was glad to help us. The appartement was clean and well-equipped.
If someone is looking for a town with some vibes but the silence and the peace is important also, Komiza is the best choice

Krásný výhled na moře z balkonu, fakt pecka, nejlepší ve městě, za to můžeme dát krk. Pěkná pláž velmi blízko ubytování (jen se musí jít kousek po schodech do a nebo z kopečka), hezké je i samotné město. Nejvíce nás bavilo nasávat atmosféru rybářského městečka a jeho večerní ruch, zatímco jsme večeřeli nahoře na balkóně. Rodina která poskytuje ubytování je velmi přátelská. Můžeme vřele doporučit.

Danielle, 17.9.2015.Lovely appartment and great host! Spacious balcony with a nice view over the bay and of Komiza. A bit outside city center, but on the other hand in a calm surrounding and only a short walk to one of the best beaches in town.
Even though our flight was delayed and we arrived to Vis with the late boat, Antonia happily picked us up in Komiza when we arrived by bus.
Just wanted to say thank you again for wonderful hospitality and hope to see you again in the future.

Heike, 16.9.2014.I received a speedy responses to e-mails, and all queries were dealt by Antonija with in a professional and friendly way.
The apartment is just outside the centre of Komiza, which means that it is quiet. On the other hand, it is a short walk into the centre, so is convenient for shopping and restaurants.
The apartment has plenty of space for two people, and has all the basic equipment needed on holiday.
In summary, we very much enjoyed our stay at the Apartment Libecchio.

We stayed one family (3 children) in apartment Mistral which suited us perfect. Clean, nice views and fast WiFi (important for the kids…). Very helpful and friendly hosts. Don´t forget to use the designed barbeque. We really recommend this place!
Mats, 8.7.2014.My boyfriend and I stayed at the Ana Apartments in September this year, and we had an incredible time. We wanted a quiet, romantic holiday and that’s exactly what we got.
The apartment is well equipped and very pleasant to stay in. By far our favourite things abut the apartment were the balcony with incredible sea views, the ideal location, and the incredibly warm and helpful attitude of Antonija and her family who own the apartments. They gave us advice when we wanted it, and they always made us feel welcome and relaxed. The apartment is a short walk from the small centre of Komiza, where you’ll find shops and restaurants, so it is very well placed. It was also very easy and cheap to reach from the ferry to the island.
We highly recommend the area. Komiza is a picturesque fishing village and was an idyllic holiday for us. Stunning beaches – some are walkable from the apartment, and some are a very short drive away, is you want to explore more. We hired a scooter to travel around the island which was perfect.

Beckie Darlington, 4.10.2013.The Levant apartment we stayed in had a lovely view overlooking the bay and the host Antonija was very efficient in providing assistance towards local restaurants, surroundings and general knowledge. She was a key highlight f our stay!
The apartments are quite basic with simple furniture (some comfy seats in the terrace would be a good addition!). Please also bear in mind that the location is close to the town centre with a 10 minute walk which is mostly uphill. There is close access to the local city beach through some steps down the road, these are very steep. The beach itself is well serviced with showers and a bar, however we would recommend renting a scooter or car to explore the beautiful beaches around other parts of the island.
Great stay in Vis island where we saw some amazing beaches and ate in some great restaurants!
We stayed in Mistral apartment (top floor) at the beginning of June. The weather was warm to hot (23-30degC) and the town not very busy. This suited us perfectly as we aimed to miss the school holidays. Our apartment was spotless and the hosts were very helpful and polite. Antonija (marketing manager) will go the extra mile to ensure you are looked after. The views from our balcony were what we payed for, and not surprisingly, it was where we spent most of our lazy afternoons and evenings. Komiza town has some wonderful restaurants within a 5-10min walk from the apartment. Also, if you have car hire then there is plenty of space for you to park at the accommodation. We will definitely visit Vis and stay at apartment Ana again.

During our holiday in Croatia we stayed in a 4 and 5 star hotel which were fantastic but the Ana Apartments were our favourite! Antonija was really welcoming and helpful, and the home made lemonade was a lovely touch when we arrived . The apartment was lovey, really spacious and comfortable and the view took my breath away, I could have easily stayed in every night and sat on the balcony. Komiza is a beautiful place and we cant wait to come back and will most definitely book the Ana Apartments again

We found Komiza and the island of Vis perfect for our holiday,
if we have the possibility, we would come another year.
We stayed in Levant at Apartments Ana for three nights. The family was extremely kind and helpful, the apartment was beautiful, clean and with a spectacular view. There were extra kindnesses which helped us a great deal as I was on crutches at the time. The owners’ cats, kittens and dogs all added to the appeal, and we were sorry not to be able to use the amazing pizza oven and barbeque when we were there. It was a lovely stay that I’ll always remember and i hope to return one day – but without crutches.
